Our WMS Center of Expertise is proud to present LISA WMS version 26.2, an update that brings significant advancements in inventory management, label printing, and mobile picking visibility. From the new Excel import capabilities for cycle counts and locations to native ZPL printing support, this update is designed to help your warehouse team work faster, with greater accuracy and better control. Read on to discover how these new features and improvements can directly benefit your operations.
Excel Import for Cycle Counts and Locations
LISA Web now supports Excel import for cycle counts and locations. This powerful new feature allows warehouse managers to load cycle counts directly from a spreadsheet, making it incredibly easy to bring in inventory data from another system. For locations, you can now import directly from Excel, effectively replacing NLoader. Furthermore, you can export existing locations, edit them in bulk within Excel, and seamlessly reupload your changes to update the system.
Benefits of Excel Import
- Simplified Data Migration: Easily bring in inventory data from external systems using standard spreadsheets.
- Efficient Bulk Editing: Export locations, make mass changes in Excel, and reupload them quickly, saving hours of manual data entry.
- Streamlined Cycle Counting: Load cycle counts directly, reducing administrative overhead and improving inventory accuracy.
- Modernized Architecture: Replaces the legacy NLoader tool with a native, web-based import process.
Native ZPL Printing Support
To improve label printing performance and reliability, LISA now supports printing native ZPL (Zebra Programming Language) labels directly. Default product and packing labels are now pre-configured to use ZPL, ensuring faster print times and crisper barcode rendering on Zebra and compatible printers. While Crystal Report labels remain available for users who need them, they are no longer the default option, paving the way for a more robust and industry-standard printing experience.
Reworked Picking Summary on LISA Mobile
The Picking Summary screen on LISA Mobile has been completely reworked to provide warehouse staff with greater visibility into their picking tasks. Instead of only showing the total aggregate quantity to pick per order, the summary now breaks down the specific products and their required quantities. This enhancement ensures that pickers have all the detailed information they need right at their fingertips before they begin their route.
Other Improvements in LISA WMS 26.2
- A new column has been added to the Inspection Results screen in LISA Web, allowing users to easily view the QA Remark (Rejection Reason) captured during the Receiving QA process.
- In the packing module, users now have the option to scan a License Plate to identify the associated order, providing a convenient alternative to scanning the order number directly.
