We’ve updated our Privacy Policy to address the new standards introduced by the new European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which comes into effect today. Here is a reminder of some important aspects included in the N’ware Privacy Policy reflecting the latest data privacy laws in the European Union.

European Users’ Data Collection

Under the new GDPR we are required to only use your personal information where we have legal basis to do so. We will only use personal information if one or more of our legal bases apply:

Contractual necessity: Processing is necessary due to the fulfillment of a contract with us.
Compliance with legal obligations: Processing is permitted if it is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation imposed on us.
Legitimate interest: Processing is necessary for your legitimate interest in our products or services, but it cannot override your fundamental privacy rights.

How do we use your data?

We use the collected information to provide you with our products and services and to improve and promote our products and services. This may include email communications to our channel partners regarding new software versions/features, upcoming events, training opportunities, and other matters necessary to conduct business.

Users have the right to provide consent or to withdraw consent at any time. This includes the ability to unsubscribe from marketing communications. Additionally, we will continue to keep any private and personal information about our partners and customers under maximum security.

What about our products?

We would also like to remind you that our products are focused on optimizing and improving the operations carried out within a warehouse environment and on the production floor. Therefore, the amount of personal data gathered is strictly limited to the name of the operators using our applications, and in many cases, the users remain anonymous by using an alias instead (such as “Operator #1”).

If you have any questions or comments surrounding the limited use of personal data by our products or services, please contact us.
